SO WHAT IS CARRY ON CAMPOUT?

​

It's a ‘Chilled-Out’ and relaxed Family VW oriented 2 night Camp-Out. Turn up, chill out and relax for the weekend.

 

Where is ‘Carry on Campout’ located? And how do I get there?

​

Gorgeous SUSSEX! We’re easy to find, and conveniently situated in the heart of the South East, accessible by car, bus or rail. Located just 36 miles from London and 20 miles from Brighton, with direct access from the M23 and M25 motorways, we’re also on the doorstep of London Gatwick Airport.

How can I grab the lovely tickets, and how much are they?

​

Tinternet links above. The Weekend/ 2 night tickets are £80 per Van/ Tent or small caravan! Including two nights camping. This includes upto 2 adults. PLUS all children under the age of 16 accompanied with a paying adult go FREE. They will be supplied with wrist bands by our gate staff. COCO/ SHC/ We subsidise these weekends, to give just a little back to the community! SO, YEP just £80 for the whole weekend! (Bonus: Add an extra 3rd night/Thursday for just £15!)

About your tickets...

​

Your campout ticket includes access to the chilled out music, campsite and catering as stated. Wristbands must be worn at all times. Please ensure you write a contact number on the plain white wristbands given to under 16’s at the gate.

All tickets are non-refundable.

​

What are the gate opening times?

​

Tickets holders can rock up Friday – gates open at 1400hrs, you will be placed in a holding area as you arrive. Weekend pitches will be available from 1400hrs- and ALL gates/access will close strictly at 2000hrs. SUNDAY CLOSE/ EXIT- 1500hrs.

Can we camp/park where we like?

​

NOPE! There are designated camping zones. Marshalls will be on duty all day and will guide you to your camping area/ pitch. Location will be the decision of marshals/ crew.

​

Do you have Electric hook-ups?

​

No, we do not have electric hook ups on site. Solar is your friend! And so is a beer. Chill, switch off and enjoy!

​

Can I bring my Generator?

​

No, AND THEN NO AGAIN! Evil generators are not permitted in any of the campout zones/ fields.

 

Can I bring my silly petrol 'Paddock Bike'?

​

No. This is a family campout- so no motorbikes or paddock bikes etc are allowed. If you are caught using one it will be confiscated, and you WILL be asked to leave.

​

What is the speed limit on the site?

​

The speed limit is 5mph. NO unnecessary vehicle movement during the day and NO vehicle movement after dark/ 8pm/ 2000hrs.

Are fire-pits allowed?

​

YES of course! It is after all a campout right?! … They MUST be over 30cm off the ground. NO EXCEPTIONS. BBQs are also permitted under the same conditions. There must be a fireproof insulating layer between the FIREPIT/ BBQ and the ground/grass. Also a fire extinguisher must be on hand and visible. The Carry on Campout Crew/ marshals will be checking every pitch. These rules must be observed. Any damage to the ground around a firepit/ BBQ area will be charged to the pitch occupants. No excuses. Reckon that covers it. BE SAFE, BE SENSIBLE and ENJOY.

Do you have shower facilities?

​

YES. The site has lovely full facilities.

​

Are there Full Disabled Facilities?

​

Yes there are full facilities, including disabled toilets and showers on site.

​

Is there First-Aid, and Security on site?

​

Yes registered first aid will be on hand, as well as a team of professional registered security firms operating a night-time service. You will find an emergency service location on site.

​

Can we bring our dog?

​

Totally! Dogs are welcome, and allowed on our show site – obviously they must be kept on leads at all times and owners are responsible to make sure ALL mess is disposed of in the bins that will be provided. Please be responsible for your dog at all times . Anyone not following these simple rules will be asked to leave the site.

 

Can we reserve a club camping plot?

​

Nope- we are one BIG Club! It's a campout not a show/ festival. However we can help with location if your family, crew, club all turns up together- at the same time. We shall endeavour to place friends and family together under these circumstances. To clarify- the 'Small Groups/ CLUB RULE' is simple... The holding area can be accessed whilst you wait for your late arrivals outside COCO. 'You all arrive together, You all enter together and You will all be sited together'. There is no holding spaces for late arrivals once sited inside COCO. We are strict on this rule. Marshals decision is final.

Can we stay for the weekend in our caravan or tent?

​

YES. VW’S, leisure tents, small caravans and non-VW motor homes are allowed. We are a VW orientated event for sure,   but the VW scene is a welcoming bunch- And you’ll be more than welcome at our event (PLEASE NOTE – We don’t allow twin axle or large berth caravans) And we reserve the right to deny access should it be required.

Can we play music while camping?

​

Of course, we will be! Moderate music levels during the day of the campout is acceptable. This is a family campout- so NO INDEPENDENT SOUND SYSTEMS are allowed. There is a strict noise curfew that is set at 2300hrs, and after this time no music will be allowed – please respect the showgrounds neighbours, and your fellow campout visitors. We have a professional security team working on site and should you be asked to turn any music down or off after the curfew, we would ask you to respect this or you will be asked to leave the site.

The following is strictly forbidden

Fireworks, Chinese lanterns, flares or pyrotechnics. Aggressive behaviour, our security can, AND will refuse entry and eject anyone causing a nuisance, acting anti-socially or in breach of our Site Rules. There’s zero tolerance of the use or distribution of illegal drugs and/or Nitrous Oxide. Strictly NO generators. No flying of silly drones.

Terms & Conditions

1. All tickets are issued subject to rules and regulations attached to the booking form and those herewith.

2. Any person entering the campout does so at his/her own risk. Neither the campout, or the event organiser can be held liable for any risk, danger/loss, including bodily harm, personal property damage/loss, or any other incident arising from attendance at the event whether occurring before, during or after the campout. With the exception of incidents arising from gross negligence and/or wilful misconduct.

3. It is forbidden to use, posses, hold or bring the following items any illegal substance or nitro’s, bonfires, Chinese lanterns, weapons, flammables, or any other objects identified by marshals, safety personnel or other authorised persons which may affect the security or safety of the event and its attendees.

4. Any ticket holder whose actions are inconsistent with or whose ticket has not been obtained in accordance with these ‘Terms and Conditions’ will be refused entry or expelled with no right to refund.

5. NO unnecessary vehicle movement during the day, and strictly NO vehicle movement after dark. The speed limit on site is 5mph at all times.

6. Due to cancellation of the event credit values will be at the sole discretion of the company. Under no circumstances will a cash refund be issued on site.

7. The purchaser of the ticket shall indemnify and hold the venue / organiser harmless from, and against all liabilities suffered or incurred in connection with a breach of ‘Carry on Campout’ ‘Terms and Conditions’.

8. No independent sound systems. Please respect our neighbours. Independent sound systems are NOT allowed on site. We will request that any music is played at a reasonable level and all music must be switched off at 2300hrs.

9. The acceptance of the ticket and entry to the campout, shall be deemed as full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and rules and regulations referred herein.

10. Purchases of tickets are the responsibility of the buyer, please note we can not offer refunds once the ticket has been purchased.

While we make every effort to provide the intended use of the site- ‘Carry on Campout’ involves human beings, travelling, weather and motors and we cannot be held responsible for any changes required.

Neither the organisers or venue can be held responsible for damage to or the loss or theft of your items while at the event or held liable for any risk, danger/loss, including bodily harm, personal property damage/loss, or any other incident arising from attendance at the event with the exception of incidents arising from gross negligence.
